It has been almost 8 years since Sergei died and I still cry a tear when I think of what was lost. But in remembering what was lost we must also look at what has been gained. Katia is happy again! She is a wife and mother to two beautiful little girls. She has memories of a man that was beautiful inside and out. I will always think of Sergei when I watch skating shows and I will wish he were still a part of it all. The love they shared with us on the ice is something I will never forget.

This week it has been almost 8 years since Sergei died. I still remember him and Katia being beautifull and happy on the ice. This last week I discovered for the first time the G§G corner. I always wandered how Katia and her daughter got on with their lives and if she would still be skating. I found out that Katia is happy with Ilia Kulik and a new daughter, and is still skating very much. I hope to see her performance some day. Still I remember 20 november and feel the loss of a very talented skater, husband to Katia and father to Daria. Ik think they will to. Thank you G§G corner for the video's. I enjoy watching them.

Today is the 20th. To some its just an ordinary Thursday, but to so many of us its a day of mourning. I still can't believe its been 8 years already. Every year since Sergei's death, a give a prayer for Sergei and Daria. My prayers for Katia have already been answered-- she is happen again. Sergei and Katia continue to be my inspiration. Sergei's life reminds us to love life and be loved, and thats what I strive for everyday. Even though Sergei has since gone forth to to Heaven, it is still comforting to know that with our rememberance and peace for such a wonderful man, his memory will never leave us. God Bless.
