INTERNATIONAL ICE SKATING SHOW IN SALEM, NEW HAMPSHIRE

No, it will not be televised. I went to that show. I wasn't expected to
see the unpoplular and unfamiliar skaters along with Katia, Daria and
Ilia. Yes, Daria skated at that show that I didn't know until I saw her
name on the list. I was not aware of Katia videotaped on Daria's skating
number as someone just said. When Daria lifted her head up a little but
keep her eyes in level looks a lot like Sergei and Katia did when they
were young! Amazing! Same mannerism! After the show I decided to go
downstairs to see if I can see Katia, Daria and Ilia to take a picture
but I only saw Ilia came out of the dressing or locker room with too
many people around and saw a little bit of Katia down the end of the
hallway was too far away for me and they went upstairs the other way.
For some reason I decided to go upstairs and whether I should leave or
not. I decided to go back to ice rink and fortunately, I noticed they
were there with the fans, not by the ice rink. It took me a while to ask
Ilia if I could take a picture of him with his wife and Daria. He said
something I couldn't catch it since I'm hearing impaired about Katia and
Daria was in the other room that I saw them went but I have to wait
until Katia and Daria come back out. Then I have to ask Katia if I could
take a picture of her with her husband and Daria. Funny, Ilia and Katia
both said very quietly "yes" or "yep" and they both were not very
smiling. Well, they both are look very tired. When Ilia and Katia was
ready to post for me but Daria wasn't aware of it right away until Ilia
called her and put his hand on her shoulder to show her to me about the
picture and she was like "oh!" and then she turned around and standing
next to her mother and SMILE! She is wearing eyeglasses as someone
mentioned it a while ago on this board. When they left the building and
saw where they went and dawned on me that they drove! I assumed they
went straight to their home in CT and it's only little over two hours
drive since I rode and drove through and to CT in many times in my
entire life. It's two hours drive from where I live to Hartford, CT. I
don't know if that his SUV or it was rental. If someone do not know
Gordeeva or Grinkov and they couldn't tell that Daria's family are from
Russia because she is acting like any eleven years old American and it
reminded me of nine years old girl I took care of and my several nieces
are around that age. Well, she spended a lot of time at public shools
for a long time and know how to acts like any American girl. Amazing.
OH, well. Maybe I'll see a lot of Katia's smiles at Stars on Ice show in
Manchester, NH after the show to take a picture of her. Hopefully, my
seat is not too far from ice rink!
Daria was wearing a costume that I never saw before, I think, and it was
royal blue from bottom of skirt to chest and it was turquoise color, I
think from chest to shoulders. Between those two colors was sparkles.
Silver metal little rounds, maybe? Too far away for me to see it very
well. Maybe someone else might know this costume? Daria is doing very
good except she fells twice from her jumps. Katia was skating the same
program like she did for on TV the one she wore some kind of maroon or
purplish and she didn't fell at all and Ilia was skating the same
programs, too, and same costumes. When he was skating by front of us and
he gave us his famous smiles at least twice. It was neat when he did
that. I'll have to find the list of skaters' names and try to remember
their costumes. I'm not very good to describe into words but I'll do my
best. There are several beautiful costumes. It just didn't occur to me
to write it down next to their names what's colors and what's kind of
styles!! Oh, well!
Yes, I'm looking forward to see more of Daria and we will since she is
studying it more as I heard about it few times. The more she studying it
and the more she practices will improve her skating skills a lot more
like her mother and her late father within few years from now. Maybe
we'll see her at Olympic one day? Who knows?
Oops! I forgot all about the titles for the music. I have trouble
understanding what the speaker said because it was too loud and some
echo that I couldn't make out and I even missed her name until I
realized her hair color and her posture and she came by near us I could
recognized her face right away. I would have a big help if I have friend
with me or relative with me to write it down for me but I don't have
many friends and I'm not very close to my nine siblings to ask if she or
they want to go. Oh, well! It didn't occur to me to ask the usher about
info. Bummer! I'm sorry.
