THE GREAT SKATE

I went to Merrimack College tonight to see Ekaterina Gordeeva, Daria Grinkova and the others. She had her haircut recently. The new hair style I never see her before wear that. It was very short, layers and bang! I never seen her wearing a very short bang at all. Usually, long bang or no bang all her life as you always see her wearing like that. Her other daughter Liza is with Ekaterina and Daria at the autograph table. I had three of them sign their names but of course, three years old Liza can't write her name yet. Just before the intermission at the ice rink when Daria and Ekaterina finished their number and Ekaterina went over to the guy and took a birthday cake and go back to Daria. Daria holding the cake while Ekaterina lit the candle and then took the cake from her and hold it. We all, I mean, ALL the audiences sung "Happy Birthday" to her! She's now 12 years old. I noticed she looks older than last year and she had grown a lot this past year or this past summer because of her height standing next to her mother. I think I saw Eleana Gordeeva holding Liza during the show because we saw Ekaterina came out and talked to her during the show. I pretty sure it was her even I can't see her whole face because she was brushing Ekaterina's short hair over her ear while Ekaterina was talking to her. I gotta go.
At the receiption
Liza was sitting between Ekaterina and Daria and she was eating her delicious sandae and then drawing on papers with permenant markers. Liza even signed her name on my show flyer but of course, she can't write her name yet. Daria was too late to tell her little sister where to write because Liza wrote it on the bottom of picture of Elvis Stojko. The picture of Ekaterina was on the top of Elvis's picture and Ekaterina and Daria already wrote their names on Ekaterina's picture so I guess Liza thought she should write on the other picture on same page. I told Daria and Ekaterina that is okay what Liza did because Daria said something in Russian language to Liza about where to write and then Ekaterina said something in Russian language to Daria probably told her it's okay. I told them it's okay, too. I know what 3 year olds thinks because I'm a babysitter/nanny for about 20 years.
