STARS ON ICE (Boston, MA)

Hey everybody!
I just got back from the Boston show and I just wanted to give you a brief review of how it went. Katia was great! She skated cleanly except for one little bobble on her landing for one jump in "Heartburn". But overall, the show was great and it was great to see Katia again (this was my 5th time seeing her). At the end, I was standing at the edge of the ice with my friend. I made signs for Katia and Ilia. They said WE LOVE YOU ILIA on one and I drew a picture of him in his "Green Tomatoes" costume and on the other sign it said WE LOVE YOU KATIA! with a picture I drew of her in her "Heartburn" costume. We were both holding them up at the end and Katia happened to be going down the line on our side shaking many people's hands. She looked up and saw the sign and then skipped over the last few people at the end sitting down and came straight over to me and my friend. She shook our hands, smiled, said "thank you. it's good to see you", and then she pointed to the sign and said something like "that's good", then she went back to the ice to bow. After bowing, her and Ilia put their arms around eachother and started skating off the ice. It was so cute. I was still holding the Ilia sign at that point and just before they skated off into the curtain, they passed by me and Katia saw my sign and she pointed to it telling Ilia to look and then he saw it and waved to me, and said "Hey". I thought it was really sweet that Katia told him to look. She's the best! This is the second time she has seen a sign I made for her. In stars on Ice 2000, I made a sign that said "Katia, you're the best!" and she saw it and kept waving and smiling to me, blowing kisses and putting her hand over her heart. It was wonderful. She will always be one of my heroes in life and I feel so grateful to have a role model as great as Katia. Sorry this may be a bit long but I just had to share my excitement!
