Stars on Ice Belgium

Hi, here goes, bear with me because I didn't buy the program. Hi to Laney and Reeta, it was great to meet everyone from the Krew. You all were so nice. I left the hotel at around nine on Sunday. I'm sorry I missed everyone at breakfast.
The show was great. The only dissapointment was that I paid for the second most expensive ticket and my seat was not good at all. Honestly I don't know where the people who paid fifteen euros were sitting. I ended up moving to an empty place lower down.
I love the Stevens number. Katia skated to that in the second half, though according to the program it was supposed to come first. She came out in the white Mother Prayer dress, the annoucers said the Stevens number was next, but the mother prayer music started. !? I think she meant to do Stevens in the white dress and they put in the wrong music. She ended up skating to Cinecita in the blue dress from Huston, really pretty. I agree that the footwork sequences are the highlights of both programs. There are also really gorgeous arm movements at the beginning. I love Cinecita and can take or leave Mother Prayer, though there are some pretty moves. Katia fell hard one time during Cinecita, not sure which jump it was.
Katia was in a cute group thing right before intermission. It was a girl power number like the one with Steven C last year at USSOI. The women made the guys do push ups.
Ilia is amazing! His new number Too Darn Hot was my favorite of the guy's programs. He wears a hat and has a lot of fun with the crowd. I enjoyed Rockit too.
Other favorites were Emmanuel Sandhu, who really has a sense of how to move with his music, and the dance teams. I hope Fusar-Poli and Margalio join USSOI, which may happen if they have a relationship with IMG in Europe. Their programs would be right at home on the US tour.
The Krew and I saw the skaters in the Astrid hotel. Katia was there. Ilia talked to fans for a while and Katia joined in some. She said the whole Stevens CD is great. I didn't say anything. She seemed so comfortable talking to fans who were not there for her, and I didn't want to burst the bubble so to speak. Someone from the Krew made a good point which was that she may be more comfortable with others fans. She knows they are not her more psycho/obsessive/vindictive "fans" and can relax. I hadn't remembered this but apparently around 1997/8 a fan tried to follow her into her room. Between that and a fan going to Darias school no wonder she can be weary of fan encounters! I also didn't say anything because I didn't have anything for her to sign.
